About SAILORR
SAILORR is an Alt R&B and Dreampop artist whose breakout single “Pookie’s Requiem” launched her into the spotlight in 2024. Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, by Vietnamese immigrant parents, she transformed early challenges into creative fuel. When home life became unstable, SAILORR and her older sister moved out at ages ten and eighteen and relocated to Miami, where her sister completed school and entered dental programs.
Originally dreaming of Broadway, SAILORR shifted her focus to music production after high school. She worked various jobs to support her craft while performing at open mics and later began releasing her music independently online. Her experimentation caught the attention of 10K Projects and Atlantic Records, setting the stage for her viral rise.
She released her debut project From Florida’s Finest in 2025, a collection she describes as sounding like a girls’ road trip up the Florida coast. Her sound blends fantasy and reality, tied together by unfiltered honesty.
“I want people to realize that I spent a lot of my life struggling with my identity because I never really identified with being super feminine or super masculine,” she says. “In all sorts of ways I have always felt, even in my music, that I am still learning to be fully vulnerable and present. But I have the audacity to think I can do everything.”
