New Orleans-bred independent duo $uicideboy$ have released the music video for “BLOODSWEAT,” a standout track from their surprise album Thy Will Be Done, which arrived on Christmas Day. The visual, directed by DILL35MM, extends the project’s high-impact rollout with a cinematic, locally rooted concept that turns the backwoods of New Orleans into an exaggerated, adrenaline-driven set piece.
According to the release, Thy Will Be Done debuted at No. 1 on Apple’s Rap Album Chart and surpassed 30 million Spotify streams without advance promotion. The album also marked the duo’s sixth project to debut in the Top 10 of Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop chart, with eight tracks from the release entering the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
In the “BLOODSWEAT” video, DILL35MM frames the duo in a full-scale spectacle built around destruction and theatrics. The clip features a customized hearse converted into a monster truck, with $uicideboy$ crushing cars as fireworks explode overhead. The setting and visuals lean into a heightened, over-the-top energy while keeping the imagery tied to their New Orleans origins.
The surprise release follows the duo’s 2025 album Thy Kingdom Come, which became their highest-charting debut to date when it entered at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. That project also earned their fourth No. 1 on both the Hip-Hop/Rap Albums and Independent Albums charts. The momentum carried into year-end streaming, with $uicideboy$ named as one of only two independent artists to land on Spotify’s Top 10 Most Streamed Rappers of 2025.
Touring has remained a major part of their recent run as well. Their annual Grey Day Tour ranked as the No. 4 highest-grossing hip-hop tour of 2025, according to Billboard Boxscore, trailing only Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s Grand National Tour, Tyler, the Creator’s Chromakopia Tour, and Nelly’s Where The Party At Tour.
Physical editions of Thy Will Be Done are also on the way. Vinyl and CD copies of the previously unannounced album are set to be available from the G59 Records website and all retailers on March 6.
More music and touring announcements are expected in 2026, with “BLOODSWEAT” serving as the latest signal that the duo is continuing to build momentum without relying on traditional lead-up campaigns.
